A 1995 Sacramento Bee full page color spread covering Del Webb's (then) new Sun City Roseville got my attention.
I was impressed with both the fully landscaped and decorated model homes and also the sales and financial folks on hand to answer questions.

Never one to act in haste (and repent at leisure) - over the next three years - I visited the Roseville location 14 times...................

Ultimately a fully equipped home that was used for Del Webb's "Vacation Getaway" sales program. "3 days/2 nights at beautiful Sun City Roseville" became my home.

(I still have the front doormat showing these words)..

That was over 20 years ago.

I am still impressed with this community.

    And I am not alone.

Just ask any resident - current or past - about the charm, comfort and beauty of living in Sun City Roseville.

My husband and I moved here in 2009 and have never regretted the move. At first we were very apprehensive about living in a place where your house colors, landscape, etc., were dictated by an organization and had never lived in a community such as this. But as I stated we have been very happy because of the restrictions, no boats, cars, trucks, basketball hoops, noise of racing cars etc., are on our streets. It is nice and quiet except when you hear the occasional gleeful laughter of Grandchildren that are visiting the neighborhood. Of course we love hearing the little ones as it always brings a smile to us.

I moved to a Sun City rental in 2005 sometime after my wife passed away! I found the neighbors very pleasant and accomodating. The golf courses, owned by we homeowners are extremely attractive, well maintained and matches easy to make. In 2011 I purchased a very nice home here at a reasonable price.

One of greatest attractions is our clubhouse which houses Timber Creek Restaurant, with outstanding meals, excellent service and ambiance. It also houses numerous centers for all types of activities as you would expect from a Del Webb facility. I was welcomed to the bridge and Dance Clubs where I've made numerous friends as well as the Veterans Club and Mens golf club. Icing on the cake was when a visitor to another
activity, Music and Laughter, suggested I go to the Dance Club where I was extremely fortunate to meet a lovely lady with whom I am spending much of my time!
